Painting on the corrugated metal is a huge challenge for muralists. The surface is not even, which creates twice more work for the artist. Plus metal is getting hot. I had to work very early in the morning or late afternoon. But no inconvenience could stop me, because this painting was my long time dream.
First time I saw this bus was in Santa Monica, California. It had surfboards on the roof.
I was fascinated. For me it was like a symbol of my dream life! I had no idea it was iconic!
