Farmhouse Mural — Hernando, Citrus County, Florida
This 308 sq ft farmhouse mural was painted on the side of a carport, designed to be clearly visible from the road and greet visitors from afar.
The mural features a rooster crowing at sunrise, created in soft yet vibrant colors inspired by early morning light. The palette was chosen to feel warm, gentle and hopeful — like the first quiet moments of a new day.
For me, this project was deeply personal. In my home culture, a crowing rooster symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness — a simple but powerful reminder that every morning brings renewal.
Located in Hernando, Citrus County, Florida, near Crystal River, this mural blends rural tradition, nature and calm energy, turning a functional structure into a bright, welcoming landmark.
